The Origin
The Origin of the Zenquency Method™
Long before I taught Tibetan Singing Bowls, I learned to listen.
The Zenquency Method was not created in a classroom, through a certification, or from a single tradition.
It was shaped through decades of experience, personal transformation, and a lifelong search to understand what truly helps people heal.
That search led me to Tibet.
I did not go there simply to learn how to play Tibetan Singing Bowls.
Immersive Learning
I immersed myself in the monks' way of life.
I shared meals with them, learned their daily rhythm of meditation, chanting, conscious breathing, silence, and mindful presence.
I observed not only what they practiced, but how they lived, with intention, simplicity, compassion, and deep awareness.
The bowl is only one part of the practice.
Lasting transformation happens when breath, vibration, mindfulness, and presence work together to help the nervous system return to its natural state of balance.
That simple realization became the foundation of the Zenquency Method™.
When I returned home, I spent years integrating these ancient teachings with more than twenty-five years of working with thousands of clients, along with my studies in mindfulness, meditation, coaching, trauma-informed healing, and the emerging science of nervous system regulation.
Over time, these worlds naturally came together.
The result became what I now call the Zenquency Method™.
A practical approach that honors ancient wisdom while making it accessible for modern life.
Four Foundations
Breath. Sound. Presence. Integration.
Breath teaches the body safety and creates the foundation for nervous system regulation.
Sound becomes vibration that is experienced throughout the body, not simply heard through the ears.
Presence transforms technique into genuine human connection, allowing healing to emerge through calm awareness rather than performance.
Integration brings together ancient contemplative practices with modern neuroscience and decades of real-world experience, creating a method that is both deeply rooted and practical to learn.
Practice

"Before I learned to teach sound, I learned to become still enough to hear it."
